Washing Tips I recommend eco-friendly products such as ECOVER for the fitted diapers,
especially the organic ones. Some regular detergents may be a little harsh so keep that in mind when deciding how much to use if
you are going with regular detergents. Wool covers and wool alll-in-ones are pre-treated with Eucalan wool wash when
felted and/or hand-dyed. Wool is naturally water-proof if un-treated. But it might slowly lose it's natural water-proof qualities
over time. If this happens, you can make it water-proof again by using Eucalan which has natural lanolin as in natural un-treated
wool. Wash hand-dyed wool covers & wool all-in-one shells separately or with dark colors the first few times because of any left
over dyes that might wash out. Otherwise, they can be washed and dried with cloth diapers. Treat with eucalan wool wash
regularly or as needed to keep them more water-proof. This hasn't happened to me, but I have heard that any fleece or wind pro cover
or fleece or wind pro all-in-one diaper shell should not be washed with eco-friendly detergents because of the natural fabric
softener in the eco-friendly products which interferes with how water-proof the outer fleece remains. Do not use bleach on cloth diapers. Bleach is too harsh and will cause the fabric
to prematurely wear and greatly reduce the life of your diaper. Oxiclean is also not recommended. I don't recommend any particular method for washing diapers, but I would
suggest you research for information regarding any laundry product before using it on your diapers/covers. Copyright © 2002-2012
